I’m Mike Seidl,

I've been editing video since 2002. In that time, I've worked on everything from talk shows and green screen explainers to podcasts, training content, and online video. I've edited thousands of hours of footage, built production workflows, trained editors, managed post-production teams, and worn more hats than I can count.

Most editors like talking about their best-looking work. The projects I'm proudest of are usually the ones nobody wanted.

I've reorganized international shoots that arrived in complete chaos. I've built workflows that saved editors hours every week. I've stepped into projects that were behind schedule, missing pieces, or simply overwhelming and helped get them across the finish line.

That's where I do my best work.

Over the years, I've learned that editing isn't just about cutting footage. It's about solving problems. Sometimes that means finding a story hidden inside hours of interviews. Sometimes it means building a process that keeps a team moving. Sometimes it means being the calm person in the room when everyone else is staring at a deadline.

My approach is simple: classic techniques, modern styles, clear communication, and a focus on delivering work that serves the project rather than my ego.

Outside the edit bay, I'm a husband, a father of three daughters, and a lifelong movie fan. Editing has been a part of my life for more than two decades, but what keeps me coming back is still the same thing: helping people turn ideas into finished projects they can be proud of.

If you're looking for an editor who thrives on building structure, knows how to untangle a mess, and can help get your project finished, I'd love to talk.
